Nearly twelve years after its initial launch on iOS, Apple Maps is now available on the web in beta form. Apple announced the expansion with a short press release, and you can try Apple Maps on your Mac or PC now by visiting beta.maps.apple.com from your browser. It is currently supported on Safari, Chrome, and Edge on Mac and Windows.
The experience is identical to that on iOS: you can search for addresses, get driving or walking directions, and view information about businesses, including phone numbers, hours of operation and payment options.
Look Around, the Street View alternative to Apple Maps, and other Apple Maps features available on mobile will be coming to the web version in the coming months. Apple is also working to bring Apple Maps to more regions, additional browsers, and platforms.
