The 15 from Xiaomi And 15 Benefits will be the world first smartphones to use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm, and they are expected to officially in October. While they’re still months away, they’ve been rumored quite a bit, and now new alleged spec sheets for both have surfaced from China. So let’s dive in.
The Xiaomi 15 is said to come with a 6.36-inch “1.5K” touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400nit brightness in high brightness mode, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,800-4,900mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

It will be IP68 certified for dust and water ingress. On the back, there will be three cameras, all with a resolution of 50 MP: a 1/1.31” main camera with the OmniVision OV50H sensor, while both the ultra-wide and 3x zoom snappers will use Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 (1/2.76”). The front camera will be 32 MP.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro has the same protection against dust and moisture ingress, a selfie camera, maxed-out RAM and storage, a 6.73-inch “2K” display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1400nit brightness in high brightness mode, and a 5400mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.
The camera system consists of the 50 MP OmniVision OV50N sensor for the main photographer (1/1.3″, f/1.4 aperture), the 50 MP Samsung JN1 for the ultra-wide angle, and an unnamed 50 MP 1/1.95″ sensor for the periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom (1/1.95″).
The Xiaomi 15 is said to start at CNY 4,599 ($632) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and from CNY 5,499 ($756) with 16GB/1TB, while the Pro will be available from CNY 5,299-5,499 ($728-756) and from CNY 6,299-6,499 ($866-894) with the same RAM/storage combinations.
