“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been approved for an incredible Christmas gift budget by our amazing Shib developers,” Lucie said in a post.
She revealed that the Shiba Inu holiday event is called the Amazing Christmas Bone December, and said huge rewards await community members who will participate in the special event.
Some crypto observers are suggesting that the so-called Christmas giveaway could take the form of Shibariumthe official gas token of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Others think the reward could be the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) or other related incentives.

Cause excitement
Many members of the Shiba Inu ecosystem are getting excited about what the holiday giveaway could be. The announcement piques the interest of the coin’s users, with the expectation that the Christmas rewards will make this year’s holidays unforgettable for the entire Shiba Inu community.
However, a handful of community members are not happy with the announcement and wonder what could be the reason for launching a giveaway aimed at BONE instead of SHIB.

At the time of writing, no one from the Shiba Inu team has provided any explanation on the question.
Some analysts felt that using BONE as the central asset for this year’s Christmas reward could increase its visibility and adoption.
Currently, BONE is trading at $0.5378, down 1.99% each day. However, over the past seven days, BONE is up 3.78%.
A similar event in 2023
This isn’t the first time Shiba Inu has made a special Christmas offer to its community members.
In December 2023, the crypto token also hosted a promotional event during the Christmas season called the ‘Shibarium Giveaway Party’.
During the promotional event, the token’s users joined an X Space with the meme coin’s top partners such as Bad Idea AI and Welly.
After the event, participants each received 10 Shiba Inu and Bad Idea Tangem branded blockchain wallets.
Additionally, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team revealed that in addition to the Christmas event, they will also be giving $2,000 to lucky Shibarium users, while offering an airdrop of 500,000 PHIL tokens to SHIB holders.
