For more than 10 years, the mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto has captured the attention and fascination of crypto users and the general public around the world.

Satoshi Nakamoto’s white paper on a peer-to-peer electronic cash system became the foundation of Bitcoin and has spawned similar projects and developments. However, Nakamoto suddenly disappeared from the spotlight in 2010, leaving many wondering and speculating: who is Satoshi, and is it true that he is now worth billions of dollars?

Now the mystery is about to be unveiled and we’re about to meet the person behind the name – at least according to PR London Live.

In an October 30 press release, the PR agency claims that Satoshi Nakamoto is ready to meet the public on October 31.

The organizers invite everyone to meet the real Satoshi Nakamoto

PR London Live has invited interested individuals to attend the planned meeting with Satoshi Nakamoto via press release. According to the agency, the press conference will take place at the Frontline Club in Paddington at 11.30am.

However, the release and invitation have raised some eyebrows and a few questions. For example, approximately 123 people have registered for the online group ‘Meet Satoshi’ that was founded two years ago. Also, some social media users have questioned the PR firm’s motivation for planning the meeting.

One Twitter/X user said that appearing at a public press conference is different from Satoshi. Others are more direct in their comments, saying the planned meeting is fake and inappropriate.

PR London Live: The team behind the planned meeting

Crypto enthusiasts and social media users immediately checked the PR agency’s background after posting the press release. The agency claims to be a London-based company that publishes significant content. However, the official website does not list any partners or customers.

The company’s site identifies Charles Anderson as content manager and CEO. Interestingly enough, Anderson claims he is the only person who now knows Satoshi Nakamoto. On LinkedIn, Anderson’s profile indicates that he is a personal assistant to Nakamoto and has hosted “The Big Reveal,” a show that aims to reveal the person behind Bitcoin.

A questionable agency and press release

Social media users were quick to comment on the agency’s background, website and press release. For example, some Internet users noticed grammatical and spelling errors on the agency’s website. When some users checked the agency’s official address in London, they discovered that it was a third-party event site listed as a farm lot in Google Maps.

Furthermore, the agency’s press release came from AI, which further underlines the suspicious nature of the event. Finally, as mentioned in the press release, the Frontline Club has not announced any formal events regarding Nakamoto.
