Samsung is leading the way in AI applications on mobile with the launch of Galaxy AI. Now, virtually every smartphone company is announcing its own AI suites, but owners of recent Galaxy S and Z devices can already use them.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 And Galaxy Z Flip6 are very suitable for AI tasks, especially the Fold with its S Pen support.
The Sketch to Image tool lets you create a rough sketch (including tracing an existing image), choose a style, and generate full-color artwork in seconds.
Circle to Search (powered by Google) is available on all Galaxy AI devices. You can use it for everything from researching travel destinations you see in photos to helping you with your math homework.
The Galaxy Z Fold6’s large screen and S Pen support make it a great tool for taking notes, but you can also let AI do the work while you focus on the presentation or discussion. The Notes app has a Note Assist feature that records and transcribes audio (separating the discussion by speakers) and also creates a summary of everything that was said.
Love them or hate them, PDFs are the standard way to send and receive digital documents. What happens when you receive a document in a foreign language? Well, the Notes app can help: its PDF Overlay Translation feature translates the entire document, so you don’t have to copy and paste chunks of text into a separate translation app.
A few days ago Samsung released One User Interface 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S23 series, the Z Flip5 and Z Fold5, which bring new Galaxy AI features to the 2023 flagships. 2022 Flagships get it too, even mid-rangers like the Galaxy A55 and A35 will receive AI with the v6.1.1 update. Samsung’s goal is to have Galaxy AI running on 200 million devices by the end of this year.
