Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 series is not coming at the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold6 And Galaxy Z Flip6 during the company’s Unpacked event earlier this month, but it’s of course coming later this year.

Last week we heard that the tablets are expected to be launched in Octoberand today that rumor has been more or less confirmed by a new rumor, which says production of the Tab S10 models will start in August.

That seems to line up with an October launch, according to Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants, who is the source of this rumor. The colors offered are gray and silver, so there won’t be any more colorful options for the tablets like we’ve seen for recent foldables.

Young says the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra will go into production next month, with no ‘vanilla’ model. This essentially confirms a rumor from earlier this month that claimed there will be no ‘vanilla’ Tab S10 and only the Plus and Ultra variants will actually arrive.

Both will be using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ SoCaccording to some recent benchmark runs. It will be interesting to see how that chipset compares to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the OnePlus Pad 2in terms of performance.
