This could be the end of the road for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite when the device received its third, and likely final, OS update. It’s important to note, however, that the device received One UI 6.0 earlier this year. The tablet was launched in mid-2021 with Android 11, and has just received an Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update in South Korea.
The firmware version is T225NKOU8EXH2 and includes the July 2024 security patch and of course most of the new Android 14 and One UI 6.1 features.
While most devices that were due for an update have already received the latest One UI 6.1, with some even waiting for version 6.1. 1, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a bit late to the party. But hey, it’s a low-priority, budget tablet and we’re surprised to see it receiving its third major software update at all.
Since the update is rolling out in South Korea, you may have to wait a while before you can receive it in your region, but it shouldn’t take too long.
