The Samsung Galaxy S24+ will be kept abreast of new OS releases for seven years, and the first major update is getting closer. The phone was spotted running Android 15 on a Geekbench test, which also means it was running the new One UI 7.0.
Samsung was already in May testing One UI 7 on the S24 Ultra. Now the other two S24 members are also joining in. Tarun Vats, who spotted the Geekbench result, reports that Samsung has internal test versions for the small Milky Way S24. They have the following version numbers: S928BXXU3BXG2, S928BOXM3BXG2.

Samsung is developing One UI 7 behind closed doors for now, but a public beta is expected in August or September. The Galaxy S24 trio will likely be the first to get it. Older S-series phones and eligible models from the other series will of course get it too.
