Samsung launched the Galaxy A55 in March, so clearly a lot of work is already being done on it his successorwhich we assume will arrive sometime in the first quarter of next year.
Today, the Galaxy A56The camera data has been leaked and, as the saying goes, we have good news and bad news.
Let’s start with the good. The Galaxy A56 will get an upgraded selfie camera, most likely a 12MP sensor, which will replace the 32MP snapper used in the A5x line since launch. Galaxy A51 launched in 2019. It’s unclear if the new camera will be identical to the one used in the Galaxy S flagship line, but it will certainly be an upgrade compared to what the A5x devices have had so far.
That’s all well and good, but it looks like the selfie shooter will be the only upgraded camera compared to the Galaxy A55. The A56 should therefore make do with exactly the same 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide and 5 MP macro camera as its predecessor. So if you were hoping to see a telephoto camera in the Galaxy A5x line (which is Samsung’s best-selling, let’s not forget), you’ll have to wait until perhaps the A57.
