Realme is expected to launch the GT7 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and the device has landed with us ahead of the official announcement next week.
We’ve just received the phone and can’t wait to start testing it, so here are our quick impressions of the new phone.
We received the orange color option of the GT7 Pro which looks quite impressive. The camera island houses three shooters and is quite large.
In terms of design, Realme clearly deviates from the two-circle solution on a vertical design element that we have seen so much in the GT 6 devices and goes back to the GT3 with 240W charging.
Realme GT5 Pro and Realme GT7 Pro
The new screen is really vibrant at first glance with incredibly rich colors, and Realme has already confirmed that it covers a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. The panel is called Eco2 OLED and is developed by Samsung, which is a surprising move from Realme considering other flagships from the same family, such as OnePlus 13 and Oppo Find X8, opt for BOE.
There’s an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the panel, and it’s as snappy as they come. The screen is slightly curved on all four sides (2.5D in the company’s marketing jargon), and this decision makes the screen feel larger with thinner bezels.
The Realme GT7 Pro is a promising device and we will take the time to work on the full review. But stay tuned for the official announcement, scheduled for Monday, October 4.
