The Oppo A3x 4G was first unveiled in August and has finally hit the Indian market today. It is available now from In return for And Amazon for INR 8,999 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The version with 128 GB storage goes for INR 9,999. It is offered in Nebula Red and Ocean Blue.
The phone is advertised as having military-grade MIL-STD-810H shock resistance and “multiple liquid resistance” (including coffee and soup) thanks to its IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It comes with a 6.67-inch 720×1604 LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chipset. There is an 8 MP camera on the back, while for selfies you get a 5 MP snapper. Keeping the lights on is a 5,100mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging (which takes it from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes). As the name implies, there’s no 5G connectivity on offer here, but you do get a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor.
