The nubia Z60S Pro has found its way into our office and we’re going to take a closer look at it today before we go into a full review.

Starting with the design, the Z60S Pro takes inspiration from vintage cameras with its massive camera island and red accents. It sports a 35mm main camera with a new 50MP sensor alongside an 8MP telephoto lens (80mm) and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle module (13mm). It also comes with a slew of AI features including Magic Eraser, a starry sky algorithm, and a 65:24 ultra-wide-angle cinema format.

The device we tested has the classic black color scheme with a textured back and a red power button.

The retail package is surprisingly rich for a 2024 phone. You get an 80W charging block and a striking red USB-C cable alongside a semi-transparent case with a matte finish and Nubia branding.

The rest of the spec sheet includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 AC chipset, also known as the “for Galaxy edition”, with an overclocked main CPU core and GPU. It’s paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. You also get a 5,100mAh battery, and we’ll make sure to put that one to the test thoroughly for durability.

With a starting price of $569/€669/£569 ($70/€70/£70 off with code:PRO70), nubia’s Z60S Pro is an interesting mid-range proposition. Keep an eye on our homepage in the coming weeks to see if the device can actually live up to its spec sheet promises.
