The Nubia Z60S Pro is expected to arrive tomorrow alongside the Z60 Ultra Leading Version, and today the brand unveiled the phone along with some specifications.
The new phone will feature a 35mm equivalent primary camera and a 5,100mAh battery. Leakster also claimed that the phone will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and two-way satellite connectivity.
The nubia Z60S Pro is the successor to the Z50S Prowhich also had the second-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset. The ZTE brand decided to keep the old chipset to bring satellite connectivity to “affordable models,” leaker Digital Chat Station added on their Weibo page. They also said that the display will have a 1.5K resolution, which should be a 1260p panel.
Another leaker has provided some details about the Z60S Pro’s actual camera sensors. We’re looking at a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor that’s 1/1.56″ in size with an f/1.59 aperture on the front. The ultra-wide and telephoto shooters will be the same as the Z50S Pro — 50MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto shooters with an 80mm focal length.
The battery has 80W wired charging. The nubia Z phone lineup mostly lacks wireless charging (apart from this one version of Z40 Pro), and we expect the same from the Z60S Pro and the new Z60 Ultra. We will know for sure after the launch tomorrow, which we will be following closely.
