The Red Magic 9S Pro series debuted in China a few days agoThe setup consists of two devices: a For+ version with 165W fast charging and up to 24GB of RAM and a regular Pro variant with 80W wired charging and a larger battery.
Today Nubia revealed that it will be bringing Red Magic 9S Pro on the international stage on July 16. We also expect the Titan 16 Pro Laptop over there.
Red Magic is advertising the phone as “the world’s first” with a “Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version,” which is actually the overclocked AC version with a 3.4GHz Cortex-X4 CPU (instead of 3.3GHz) and a 1GHz Adreno 750 GPU (instead of 900MHz) that we saw in the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The device is also called the only device in the industry with a “true full-screen experience”, because the selfie camera is under the display and does not require a hole in the screen. ZTE and its subsidiaries have been using this technology for years.
The Red Magic 9S Pro price in China starts at CNY3,800 ($550) for a 12/256GB version. However, we expect it to cost at least $649/€649 since this the global price tag of the predecessor Red Magic 9 Pro with a regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
