The nubia Z60 Ultra leading version And Z60S Pro are the latest devices launched by sub-brand ZTE. The Z60 Ultra gets an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and new colors, while the Z60S Pro brings a slightly larger main camera sensor and additional AI camera features. Both devices are also powered by nubia’s new suite of AI services.

The big change on the Z60 Ultra Leading Version is the higher-binned Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with a primary Cortex-X4 CPU core clocked at 3.4GHz and a boosted 1GHz GPU. Nubia claims the upgraded SoC will help the Z60 Ultra excel at AI tasks with the ability to run on-device AI models with up to ten billion parameters.

The front is dominated by the same 6.8-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz) with an under-display camera (UDC) for the 12MP selfie camera, which now features a new enhancement algorithm for sharper selfies.
The AI improvements extend to the cameras, with Nubia’s NeoVision AI Photography System 2.0. Nubia uses similar hardware as on the regular Z60 Ultra, but with an upgrade on the 35mm main camera, which gets a new Sony 9-series sensor. The 18mm ultra-wide lens gets a larger aperture and sticks with 50MP resolution, while the 64MP periscope lens (85mm) gets additional AI telephoto capabilities.

The software side is covered by Android 14 with nubia’s MyOS 14 on top. The battery remains at 6,000mAh and still features 80W wired charging.

nubia Z60S Pro
The Z60S Pro is the direct successor to last year’s Z60S Pro. Z50S Pro and it retains all the key specs with some minor changes to the 35mm main camera which has a larger sensor. Nubia also adds new AI features including Magic Eraser, a starry sky algorithm and a 65:24 ultra-wide cinema format.

The 8MP telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide lenses carry over, as does the 6.8-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz). The Z60S Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. You also get a 5,100mAh battery with 80W charging.
