Motorola is expected to Edge 50 Neo next month, and the phone is said to feature a Dimensity 7300 chipset, according to an online retailer. Today, we got confirmation that the midranger will indeed come with the new Mediatek platform, as it appeared on Geekbench.
We can confirm the core specifications of 4×2.5GHz and 4×2.0GHz, which is the Size 7300used in the Razr50 foldable (under the name 7300X). It will be an improvement over the Edge 40 Neowhich had a CPU with two units at 2.5 GHz and the other six at 2.0 GHz.
The listing also reaffirmed that the device will feature 8GB of RAM and will run Android 14 out of the box, which isn’t all that surprising.
A separate ThinkPhone 25 scorecard suggests Motorola could rebrand the phone under its parent Lenovo brand. The reason for the suspicion is the identical chipset and overall performance results.
A new middle class Think phone would be most intriguing if the previous one, launched in January 2023, had a premium chipsetIt was primarily sold as a B2B product, and we wonder if the ThinkPhone 25 will also be aimed at businesses with this somewhat unimpressive chip.
