Motorola is teasing a new smartphone it will soon launch in USA. According to the brand, it will be the world’s thinnest “military phone” – meaning it will be the thinnest handset to achieve MIL-STD-810 ruggedness certification.
It is offered by Flipkart and is protected against drops, shaking, extreme heat, extreme cold and humidity.
It’s unclear what kind of device this is, but some speculate that it’s the recently leaked Motorola Edge 50 Neo. This will be the successor to the Edge 40 Neo was launched last September.
The device is reportedly powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with either 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It is said to feature a 6.5-inch 120Hz pOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top, a triple camera system on the back (50MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, 10MP telephoto camera), a 32MP selfie camera, and packs a 4,310mAh battery. It will be 8.1mm thick and weigh 171 grams. It is expected to come in four color options — Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana.
