Huawei sent the first units of his first triptych Mate XT Ultimate earlier today in China and if you were wondering if the device would ever release outside of its home market, we have good news! We can now confirm that the Mate XT Ultimate will launch globally in Q1 2025.
With a starting price of CNY 19,999 ($2,800/€2,550) in China, the Mate XT is already one of the most expensive tech devices you can buy. And when price fluctuations between China and the rest of the world are factored in, the price could rise to well over $3,000/€3,000 for international buyers.
That’s the kind of cost that comes with first-gen tech and we have to give Huawei some credit for what they’ve achieved here hardware-wise. We recently got a chance to test drive a Mate XT Ultimate and were more than impressed with its build and all the potential that tri-folds bring to the table.
