The first harvest of Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphones are here and the iQOO 13 looks to take things a step further with a class-leading display, upgraded cameras and a massive 6,150mAh battery.
iQOO 13 is one of the first phones to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite
The display on the iQOO 13 is slightly larger than his predecessor It measures 6.82 inches and uses the latest Q10 luminous material, achieving a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
The BOE-made LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel has a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 px and a variable refresh rate of 1-144 Hz. It also gets the trendy micro-quad curved corners that look like a flat screen but have subtle curves on all four corners. There is a 32MP selfie camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.
The back of the iQOO 13 features a substantial RGB-lit camera ring with 72 lighting effects. That includes 12 color combinations and carious effects such as pulsating and spiraling.
The RGB ring light can display notifications, respond to music playback and show your charging status. It can also indicate wins and kills in certain game titles such as Honor of Kings.
The camera department features three 50 MP shooters: a 1/1.56-inch main camera (IMX921) with OIS, a 2x telephoto lens 1/2.93-inch and a 1/2.76-inch ultra-wide shooter with an f/ 2.0 aperture.
iQOO 13 comes with OriginOS 5 based on Android 15 in China, while the global version should come with FuntouchOS 15 once it launches December.
The new device also comes with a 6,150mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 120W wired charging. Another upgrade for this year is the added IP69 protection against dust and water ingress.
iQOO 13 comes in the colors Legend White, Track Black, Nardo Gray and Isle of Man Green. Prices start at CNY 3,999 ($560) for the 12/256 GB version and end at CNY 5,199 ($730) for the 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage version.

Shipments to China begin on November 10th. The phone is expected to make its global debut in December.
