The main one is the Interpreter, which currently offers real-time translations for 16 languages, with support for another 20 languages expected to be available later this year. One advantage of the foldable phones is that you can use the dual screens with Conversation Mode. This allows you to type out a conversation in your own language on one screen, while the person on the other end sees a live translation of what you’re trying to say in their language, for a more natural conversation.
Galaxy AI also supports Listening Mode, which can transcribe foreign languages directly to your screen for a more immersive experience during tours. The Galaxy Buds3 series supports audio transcription for a hands-free experience.
If you’re abroad and don’t speak the local language, Samsung also lets you use Chat Assist. This lets you write text messages in the foreign language or compose social media posts with the latest images from your gallery.
For those times when you’re abroad and need to fire off an email, Samsung’s Composer feature comes in handy. You input a short prompt of what you want to say and the tone of your message, and Galaxy AI will generate it all on the fly in your preferred language, saving you time.
