Honor is unveiling the Magic7 flagship series on October 30, and the brand continues to tease the devices. We now have a new video teaser for the vanilla Magic7 model, seen here in Chaoha Gold, presented by Chinese actress and singer Zhu Zhu, who has become Honor’s newly appointed Art Aesthetic Ambassador.

Honor says this colorway captures “the beauty of the morning light.” The brand also released the following promo photos featuring the shade.

Furthermore, it has now been confirmed that the Magic7 series devices will have the AI Defocus Eye Protection technology that the brand unveiled in June.

This works by simulating blurred glasses on the screen, inducing controlled blur in your peripheral vision to maintain clear central vision. Honor claims that the technology reduced users’ transient myopia by an average of 13° after 25 minutes of reading, with some users even experiencing a maximum reduction of 75°.

And this will be part of the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro from day one. Additionally, their displays will feature 4,320Hz PWM dimming and hardware low blue light. In addition, the screen’s brightness, color temperature and contrast are adjusted in real time by AI, based on the context of what you are doing and your habits.
