Honor unveiled MagicOS 9.0 last week and will launch the next generation of flagships this week – tomorrow even. We’ve already seen the Pro model, and that’s what it was seen on stage during the Snapdragon Summit. The new phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Anyway, the company has also shown off the upcoming Honor Magic7 series in two teaser videosso we now have a pretty good idea of what the rear end will look like. But if you want to take another look, especially up close, these spy photos posted by Digital chat station offer a closer look before the big reveal.

Starting at the rear, a ‘Matrix camera’ label sits right in the middle of the quad-camera setup (one of which has the characteristic square shape of a periscope, the other could be a Laser AF module rather than a camera) and in line with the dual LED flash.
Matrix is one brand of AI features that Honor is using for its cameras, but there’s another one coming – the company has confirmed that the Magic7 series will have an “AI Eagle Eye” camera. This technology allows phones to capture fast-moving objects.

The flat display, which rotates forward, has a pill-shaped cutout for the selfie camera and a 3D depth sensor for secure face detection. There will be plenty of AI features here too, with the NPU helping the GPU to render frames faster and a new digital assistant.
Check back tomorrow for the full details on the Honor Magic7 and Magic7 Pro.
