Google would use the Pixel 9a in March 2025, but a full spec sheet of the smartphone has already appeared online. Multiple sources told Android Headlines that the new phone will have a large 6.3-inch screen, the same screen as the Pixel 9 And Pixel 9 Pro flagships.
Google is expected to equip the Pixel 9a with the latest Tensor G4 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The leak also reaffirmed the 5,000mAh battery, which supports up to 18W wired and 7.5W wireless charging.
The new phone is expected to have the 48MP Sony IMX787 sensor in the main camera, which is also found in the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. In addition, there will be a 13 MP ultra-wide snapper and a 13 MP selfie camera in a punch-hole on the front.
The dimensions of the Google Pixel 9a are 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm with a body that weighs 186 grams. The larger battery and display do not affect the price; again, it starts just like from $499 its predecessor.
