Bitcoins 2024the largest Bitcoin conference in the world, is hosting a new creative competition this year, designed to mobilize and inspire a wider audience about Bitcoin: the Bitcoin Propaganda Track.
The Bitcoin Propaganda Track calls on content creators to submit original videos and memes that showcase Bitcoin and the potential impact of this revolutionary technology in a unique way. The winner will receive a prize of $5,000 in BTC.
The competition, part of the Official Bitcoin Games 2024 Hackathoninvites participants to produce commercials, memes, or other forms of engaging content that create compelling stories about Bitcoin. Interested participants are asked to create 30-60 second commercials that showcase Bitcoin, as well as memes that effectively communicate key Bitcoin concepts and data.
Submissions must be made here (or by email to michael.markle@btcmedia.org with the subject line “Hackathon Submission (Project Title)”) by July 17 at 11:59 PM ET. The winner will be announced on stage at the conference and featured in Bitcoin Magazine.
The judges for the competition include Mike Germano, President of BTC Inc. and Bitcoin Magazine, Brandon Green, Chief of Staff of BTC Inc., TIP_NZ, a Bitcoin advocate known for her artistic contributions in the form of rap and visual storytelling, and Hills, a well-known member of the Bitcoin Puppets community.
