Apple is said to have chosen September 10 as the date for its next hardware launch event, where the iPhone 16 family will make its grand debut alongside new watches and AirPodsThe information comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a usually very reliable source of information about Apple.
If the event does indeed take place on September 10, the new devices would go on sale on September 20. This is all according to “people familiar with the matter,” as Apple has not officially announced anything about its next event. The company also declined to comment for this report.
The iPhone 16 models all get a new Capture Button (Sony says hello) as well as some camera improvements, which detailed in a leak yesterday. Of course, there should also be new chips, and marginally larger screens. Of course, the new devices will also include Apple Intelligence features.
The Apple Watch X or the Apple Watch Series 10 gets larger displays but is thinner, and the standard AirPods come in two models, one of which features noise cancellation for the first time in the non-Pro series.
