Apple has ventured into the health and wellness world with the Apple Watch and its other devices, and according to a Bloomberg report, the company is preparing a new feature for prediabetics.

Apple is reportedly working on an app for prediabetics

After the ECG and the irregular heart rhythm, Apple introduced this tracking sleep apnea this year and Hearing aid for AirPods Pro 2. Apparently, the Cupertino-based company is now trying to come up with a non-invasive way to track your blood glucose.

Apple is reportedly working on sensors that can track blood glucose without sticking a needle in you and has already tested an app internally. Earlier this year, a group of Apple employees successfully tested the feature, so we could see it become a reality next year.

The feature is specifically designed for people who have been diagnosed with prediabetes and are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

In addition to continuously measuring blood glucose, the app allows you to record your food and recommend your next meal based on this to keep blood glucose levels stable and prevent spikes.
