We are only days away from the introduction of the Xiaomi 15 series, the first phones to be launched with the brand new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. If you’re wondering how the new chip performs in terms of gaming: Digital chat station has shared some early stress tests that show the power of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro.
Xiaomi 15 ran Genshin Impact on maximum settings with an average of 59.9 FPS. Impressively, the chip’s power consumption was just over 4W and reached a maximum temperature of just 39°C. We can see the Snapdragon 8 Elite stacking nicely with the Dimensity 9400 with an average FPS to match while consuming less power.
