Yesterday a report surfaced claiming Google has canceled the Pixel Tablet 3causing the form factor to be specified again. Today there is an intriguing plot twist in the story.
A new source says it was actually the Pixel Tablet 2 – you know, the one with the first party keyboard case – who got the axe.
If this is true, the big question is whether the Pixel Tablet 3 will launch as the Pixel Tablet 2. Or, instead, whether the original Pixel Tablet is also the last Pixel Tablet. This is unclear at the moment.
If you’re wondering why, Google is reportedly concerned that it could lose money on the Pixel Tablet 2. The device is said to be powered by the Tensor G4 SoC and is expected to arrive next year in both Wi-Fi-only and 5G-capable variants.
