While its Chinese competitors are busy releasing stable Android 15 updates left and right, Samsung is fall behind – bad. The Korean company didn’t even send the message first beta of One UI 7 based on Android 15 on all its devices, a sharp turn backwards compared to the insanely fast update rate of recent years.

Rumor has it that this happened because the company is busy implementing changes that will make One UI 7 the best One UI ever, but still. Anyway, if you’re eagerly awaiting the first beta, an alleged release timeline for One UI 7 was leaked today.

So during the first week of December we will reportedly get the first beta for the Galaxy S24 seriesfollowed by the one for the S23 family about 2-3 weeks after that. It is apparently unclear whether the Galaxy S22 devices will get the beta this year or not, while the S21 family Certainly is not will be part of the beta program.

The beta program itself will last about two months, with the final stable release expected to be released in February, i.e. after that the launch of the Galaxy S25 seriesexactly in line with Samsung’s own admission One UI 7 will be launched on the S25 family and will not be on any other device until it arrives.
