Introduction
The Oppo Find While we wait for the arrival of the next generation Ultra (which isn’t even official yet), we have the Find , a camera control key.
The X8 Pro isn’t quite an now also on the Pro. And not only that, but in this particular case one of them uses two prisms to keep things more compact other one that can focus close, so in a way we get the best of both worlds: a fairly large camera bump and ‘macro’ shots. The ultrawide isn’t quite Ultra quality, but we understand that: there has to be room for all the X8 models under the sun. Somewhat related, the Find X8 Pro includes a camera button – Apple has started a trend, but it may be nicer than the iPhone’s.
The X8 Pro, along with the X8, introduces more trendy components to the range, including a silicon-carbon battery. Perhaps most important is the capacity, and at almost 6,000 mAh it certainly promises longevity, but it should also fare better in the cold than the old batteries. The Pro packs the high-end Dimensity chipset this year, but while Snapdragon elitists may look the other way, we see no reason not to like Mediatek’s rise in the flagship segment. A Dolby Vision-capable OLED screen is a nice touch, although we’d probably rather touch an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor underneath than the optical one here. Also, selfies don’t look too promising. Are we just consciously choosing the Find X8 Pro because we hope to get a global Ultra?

Unboxing Oppo Find X8 Pro
This generation doesn’t stray far from tradition and the Find X8 Pro comes in a conventionally sized box with a grey/graphite color scheme. The contents of the package are also the usual, that is to say: the former usual.
The phone comes with an 80W charger and a USB-A to C cable – Oppo’s SuperVOOC still uses that. A soft, transparent cover is also included to protect the back of the glass from the start.
